Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, then head to Wilson Airport for a scenic flight to the Masai Mara. As you fly, enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival at the Masai Mara airstrip, you’ll be welcomed by a professional safari guide from Kairi Travels.

Check into your chosen lodge or tented camp, where you’ll have lunch and some time to rest. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot the famed “Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino – along with cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests.

After a thrilling day of wildlife sightings, return to the lodge or camp for dinner and a relaxing evening, sharing stories of your adventure.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives

After breakfast, head out for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara. Traverse the vast plains, witnessing the rich wildlife and beautiful landscapes of the reserve. Tick off more animals and birds from your wildlife list as the day unfolds.

Enjoy a unique picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by the untamed beauty of the wilderness. Continue your game drives, discovering different areas of the Mara, before returning to your camp or lodge as the sun sets. After dinner, relax and recharge for the next day.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi

Begin your final day with an optional early morning hot air balloon safari (advance booking required), providing stunning views of the Mara from above. After landing, enjoy a champagne bush breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive.

Focus on the Mara River, renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal), where you may witness large herds of wildebeests and zebras crossing the river. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
