Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Journey to Aberdare National Park

After landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll meet our representative for a scenic drive to Aberdare National Park (3-4 hours). Arrive in time for check-in and a delightful lunch before transferring to the famous Ark Lodge. Spend the afternoon capturing wildlife images from the comfort of the lodge’s viewing decks. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Ark.

Day 2: Aberdare – Samburu National Reserve

Start with an early breakfast before departing for Samburu National Reserve safari. En route, stop at the equator for a photo session. Samburu offers sightings of rare wildlife species like Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. After lunch at your lodge, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. Return for dinner and a restful night at your lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu

Spend a full day exploring Samburu’s unique landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives, with ample opportunities to photograph the park’s distinctive species. In between, relax with lunch at your lodge. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and embark on afternoon game drives safari focused on the Big Five. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart for Lake Nakuru after breakfast, stopping at Thompson’s Falls for a quick photo opportunity. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos and diverse wildlife, including rhinos and Rothschild’s giraffe. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

Travel to the world-renowned Maasai Mara, with a stopover at Narok for refreshments. Check into your camp and enjoy a bush picnic lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Full Day in Masai Mara

Spend the day exploring Masai Mara safari with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness predators on the hunt, and see the Big Five up close. Enjoy a picnic breakfast amidst the wilderness and take a cultural tour of a nearby Maasai village in the afternoon (optional). End the day with dinner at your camp.

Day 8: Full Day in Masai Mara

Start the day with a morning game drive safari followed by a bush picnic lunch. Visit the Mara River, the center stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration, and capture dramatic wildlife scenes. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Drive to Lake Naivasha, often referred to as the “Gem of the Rift Valley.” After check-in and lunch, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Lake Naivasha, perfect for photographing hippos and a variety of birds. Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 10: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

Depart for Amboseli National Park, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for panoramic shots. Arrive for lunch, then embark on an evening game drive with Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. Return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 11: Full Day in Amboseli

Experience a full day of game drives in Amboseli, with Mount Kilimanjaro providing stunning photo opportunities. Spot lions, elephants, and cheetahs as you explore the park’s varied ecosystems. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Hill before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park, famous for its “dust-red” elephants and diverse wildlife. Visit Mzima Springs, home to hippos and crocodiles, before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 13: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park

Journey to Tsavo East after breakfast for more wildlife encounters. Visit iconic locations like the Galana River and Aruba Dam, and capture images of the red elephants and other wildlife. After a day of game drives, return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 14: Tsavo East – Mombasa

Conclude your safari with a drive to Mombasa, where you’ll check into a beach resort. Spend the afternoon relaxing and photographing the stunning coastline and white sandy beaches, before ending your incredible 14-day safari.

This journey offers a perfect blend of wildlife photography and cultural exploration across Kenya’s most iconic landscapes.
